Ferrari have announced that they have signed an agreement renewal with Finnish driver Kimi Raikkonen for 2018.
Raikkonen has been with Ferrari for the 2007 to 2009 seasons and then rejoined them in 2014. Since then he has been a fixture of the team, partnering Sebastian Vettel for the past three years. He is likely to continue the pairing for next year, with Vettel being a favourite for retention.
Kimi Raikkonen has had a lean run in his current stint with the Scuderia, but has given them nine wins out of his twenty career wins. His 122 starts places him behind Michael Schumacher and Felipe Massa with 179 and 139 starts respectively.
