The refreshed Dacia Duster has been announced, with a host of upgrades that seeks to build on the rugged theme of the model. The previous generation has hit the one-million mark in sales and sees wide spread appeal in the GCC and India as the Renault Duster.
While looking very identifiably connected to the previous model, especially with the profile of the vehicle, there have been some significant changes. The grille and headlights have an integrated spread that stretches across the width, while the skid plate has become more pronounced and ‘in-your-face’. The A pillar has been moved 100mm ahead and the windshield is more steeply raked and the belt line has been raised. The Duster now gets aluminium roof rails and 17″ wheels.
The taillights have been pushed out to the corners and have a stacked squares graphic signature, with an equally prominent skid plate and busier tailgate.
Further details like the upgraded and redesigned interiors are set to be revealed at the Frankfurt Motorshow. Watch this space for further details.
