Aston Martin has announced a Middle East exclusive limited edition of the Vanquish S, called the Pearl edition and limited to 15 units. This continues the brand’s attempts to add appeal by offering factory customised versions of its models.

Here, Aston Martin is attempting to invoke the region’s connection with the pearl business (mainly in Bahrain).

Marek Reichman, EVP and Chief Creative Officer, who oversees the dedicated Q by Aston Martin team at the company’s HQ in Gaydon, Warwickshire commented: ‘The Vanquish S Pearl Edition is an extremely special car, it is a chance for us to demonstrate our skilled application of exotic materials as well as the Q by Aston Martin team’s attention to detail.’

Unique to the Pearl Edition, the badge on the hood and the Q on the fender are inlaid with mother of pearl, which also finds its way inside the car on the central spine of the console, on the rotary dials and sill plaque.

The leather selection complements the look, using pale shades and a perforated snowflake pattern. The iridescent theme is continued through to the copper tan metallic leather detailing and the pearlescent Q by Aston Martin platinum white paint finish, painstakingly applied layer by layer over the all-carbon fibre bodywork of the Vanquish S.

So now you have another limited edition sportscar to whet your appetite for exclusivity.
