The new and upgraded 2018 Toyota Prado has been launched in Oman at a ceremony held at Toyota’s showroom in the Saud Bahwan Automotive Corporate Centre. Toyota’s regional Department General Manager Nobuyuki Takemura was the chief guest.

The new Toyota Prado is identifiable through its new grille and hood, new lights and new bumpers. The interiors have also been upgraded with a 9″ navigation system that serves to display input from the 360-degree cameras.

Highlighting the unique characteristics of the 2018 Prado, Mr. Nobuyuki Takemura said, “The new 2018 Prado is a top-of-the-line SUV. Reliable and tough, it can go anywhere, do anything. Off road or on, it delivers upgraded performance. Prado offers the latest technology and safety with breathtaking style. QDR – Quality, Durability & Reliability. These are our keywords worldwide and also here. In the Middle East, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is synonymous with QDR. New Prado is advanced in every area including style and features. The vehicle’s off-roading credentials are boosted with uphill crawl, terrain camera and horizon-levelling display. The 2018 Toyota Prado is available with a choice of three engines, a 4.0-litre delivering 271hp, a 2.7-litre 4-cylinder delivering 163hp and a 3.0-litre turbo diesel with 161HP. The petrol engine variants come standard with the six-speed automatic transmission.
