It’s huge by any SUV measure with six doors with the flexibility of two more. The cool thing about this soon-to-arrive SUV is that it will not affect the environment or upset legislators. Yes, we are talking of a niche American boutique brand called Panoz, which has built its reputation on performance vehicles. The company is represented by Don Panoz who is also co-founder and chairman of Green4U Technologies.
Green4U is the promoter of this SUV and has announced that it will offer two new electric vehicles — MTU-6 and Enova — to customers by the second quarter of 2018.
Green4U displayed the MTU-6 and Enova at the Taxicab, Limousine & Para transit Association (TLPA) Trade Show in Denver last week.
Both six-door concepts displayed are built on modular aluminium platforms and have all-electric powertrains. Green4U says they’re “designed primarily but not exclusively for fleet use.” Despite their size, the prototypes on display have a driving range of 230 miles on a single charge.
Green4U says the MTU-6 and Enova will be available in the first half of next year. The company has a range of EVs it plans to introduce, including neighbourhood electric vehicles, sedans, vans, and medium and large commercial vehicles. Earlier this year, Green4U and Panoz also announced an experimental electric race car, called the GT-EV.
