Nissan Middle East and Dubai Expo 2020 have jointly announced the inclusion of Nissan as official automotive partner for the Expo. With this, Nissan continues to emphasis its focus on the region, which plays a significant role in its global portfolio.
The partnership will see Nissan provide more than a 1,000 vehicles for the Expo during its six-month tenure. Some of the vehicles were shown as part of the official press preview, including the latest LEAF electric car.
Nissan will also partner in the theme of intelligent mobility that is one of the underlying concepts of the Expo.
The deal was signed by Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General, Dubai Expo 2020 Bureau, and Kalyana Sivagnanam, President for Middle East and Regional Vice President for Africa, Middle East and India at Nissan.
