The premium large SUV from the Infiniti stable – the Infiniti QX80 was launched in Oman. Considered a major facelift, the new vehicle brings a completely refreshed exterior styling that includes a reworked hood and grille, new headlights and taillights as well as a reworked interior.
A senior official at Infiniti, Suhail Bahwan Automobiles LLC, Oman said, “We are delighted to welcome the year 2018 with the launch of the outstanding Infiniti QX80. While the Infiniti QX80 continues with its tried and tested powertrain, the interior electronics package has been upgraded to make it contemporary. For instance the HMI supports 31 languages, while the vehicle also gets a new driver assistance package that includes Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, Intelligent Cruise Control, Distance Control Assist, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Forward Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warning and Intervention and Backup Collision Intervention.
Infiniti importer Suhail Bahwan Automobiles also used this opportunity to launch the 2018 version of the Infiniti Q50 sedan. Seen as the harbinger of the brand’s new technologies, the midsize premium Q50 sedan not only offers a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, it also has a hybrid and a 3.0-litre performance twin-turbo engine on offer.
