Ford has announced a senior level shuffle of management with current Head of Lincoln, Kumar Galhotra shifting to his new position as group vice president and President of Ford’s North America operations. Readers will be aware that the previous incumbent Raj Nair has quit following a recent internal investigation into reports of inappropriate behaviour.
Galhotra, a 29-year veteran of the company, has served in a variety of senior-level engineering and product strategy positions around the world. In addition, since 2014, he has led Lincoln Motor Company.
In announcing the leadership changes, Ford President and CEO Jim Hackett said Ford is “very fortunate to have an experienced and committed executive team in place driving every day to significantly strengthen our business while building toward our vision of becoming the world’s most trusted mobility company, designing smart vehicles for a smart world.”
Galhotra’s post has been filled by Joy Falotico who is now group vice president, Lincoln Motor Company and chief marketing officer.
