Dhofar Automotive, Alfa Romeo’s importers in Oman, have announced the arrival of the blistering fast Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio in Oman, appropriately timed for the Ramadan season. The vehicle is on display at the brand’s Ramadan tent at the Shangrila Barr al Jissah.
Commenting on the arrival of Stelvio Quadrifoglio to Oman, Rhett Maxwell, the GM of Dhofar Automotive stated, “following its long awaited arrival to the Sultanate, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio brings with it a unique blend of Italian luxury and extreme performance, stemming from the brand’s long racing lineage. We believe that Stelvio Quadrifoglio will be widely celebrated by fans of the brand in Oman and will see high demand in the market.”
Rhett also asserted that DA is proud to sponsor the Ramadan tent at Shangri-la Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, one of the Sultanate’s most luxurious resorts and one that is in line with the luxury and quality commonly associated with the Alfa Romeo brand. He also emphasised that the tent would be an opportune location to showcase the Giulia and Stelvio models to visitors during the holy month.
Stelvio Quadrifoglio is equipped with an exclusive aluminium 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo petrol engine – developed using technologies and engineering know-how from Ferrari, it delivers maximum power of 510hp at 6,500 rpm and generates a maximum torque of 600 Nm from 2,500 to 5,000 rpm. The power plant is teamed with the specifically calibrated eight-speed automatic transmission that allows gearshifts in just 150 milliseconds in Race driving mode. Also, to maximise the sporty driving experience, one-piece aluminium paddle shifters, integrated with the steering column, are standard.
As a result, its performance figures are outstanding: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.8 seconds and it has a best-in-class top speed of 283 km/h. But Alfa Romeo’ sports SUV is also incredibly efficient in terms of fuel consumption and emissions, thanks to its electronically controlled cylinder deactivation system and the “sailing” function, available in the Advanced Efficiency driving mode.
For the first time, the 510hp 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo petrol engine is combined with the innovative Q4 all-wheel drive system, which guarantees unbeatable performance, traction, driving pleasure, and safety in all situations. Stelvio Quadrifoglio is also equipped with the exclusive Alfa Chassis Domain Control unit and is the only SUV in its class to provide differential Alfa Active Torque Vectoring as standard. Also standard is the innovative Alfa Active Suspension, a system that continually, actively controls the suspension and shock absorbers.[td_block_13 post_ids=”4868″ m14_el=”0″]
