Nissan is building on the successful second generation of the Nissan LEAF electric car, with a new Nismo edition. While actual performance figures may not be close to a sportscar, Nissan has published a list of changes the Nismo LEAF will have. These include:

To the customer, the main difference will be in the visual identity that the red striped Nismo brings and the feeling of exclusivity. The move comes on the back of the brand’s renewed thrust on Intelligent mobility and the announced move to participating in the upcoming season of Formula E.
