The new Hyundai Santa Fe will arrive in the region in September, serving to beef up Hyundai’s marketing efforts and offering a radically new styling approach.
“This latest, all-new version of the Santa Fe will continue the model’s long success story globally, an in markets across our region,” said Mike Song, Hyundai’s Head of Operations for Africa and the Middle East. “The Santa Fe is an iconic model for Hyundai, and the foundation of our reputation across the SUV segment. The fourth generation immediately sets a new standard in in the market, for technology, for safety, and for comfort.”
The fourth generation Santa Fe will get a choice of three engines in the region with a 2.2 turbo-diesel, 2.4 GDI petrol, or 3.5 MPI petrol, and either a 6-speed or 8-speed automatic transmission, depending on the individual market. The Santa Fe is also offered in 2WD and with the optional four-wheel drive transmission.
In terms of cabin features, the Santa Fe will get an advanced heads-up display as well as a large 8″ central display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration.
