Limited Edition Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Italia lands in UAE

With just 108 units available worldwide, the limited edition Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Italia has arrived in the UAE at the dealership showroom of Gargash Alfa Romeo.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Italia is handmade in Modena and is available in Blue Misano paint and with 5-hole alloy wheels and yellow calipers.

“Truly collectable limited-edition vehicles like the 4C Spider Italia appear very rarely,” said Simon Ellis, General Manager, Gargash Alfa Romeo. “That’s why we decided to mark its arrival in our showroom as part of a very special event that gave us the opportunity to link with Planet Alfa, bringing together Alfa Romeo enthusiasts from all over UAE.”

The linked event saw 60 owners of the brand’s vehicles participate in the launch of the car and then in a cavalcade to Arabian Ranches Golf Club.

The car gets a unique leather treatment, with yellow stitching and further marks of exclusivity through a limited edition plate on the tunnel and dashboard insert.

The 4C is ultimately one of the lightest super sportscars on the market with its extensive use of carbon fibre and lightweight functional and structural elements. Powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged engine, it is capable of 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 258 km/h.

“Over its lifetime, the 4C has been named ‘The Most Beautiful Car of the Year’ in a worldwide online survey organised by Festival Automobile in France, ‘Best Car’ by Auto Motor & Sport, ‘Car of the Year’ by FHM in the UK and won the ‘Auto Trophy’ title organised by Auto Zeitung in Germany,” added Simon Ellis. “It also won the highly coveted ‘Future Classic’ title in a survey organised by Motor Klassik magazine twice, when readers, most of whom are classic car owners, were asked which current car models they thought had the potential to become a timeless icon.”
