MG Motor have announced the launch of the new generation of the MG6 sedan in the region.
Completely redesigned and built on a strengthened and modernized platform, the new MG6 exhibits a striking new profile, added to a completely new grille and fascia, with features from premium cars – like progressive LED indicators.
Tom Lee, Managing Director of MG Motor’s parent company SAIC Motor Middle East, commented: “The all-new MG6 appeals to a range of customers across the region, especially younger buyers who are looking for value for money in a stylish, technologically-advanced package. This latest generation of the MG6 takes the quality and styling of our vehicle to a new level, providing the kind of features customers expect to find on premium automotive brands.”
The car is similarly kitted out in its interiors with an 8″ display, Apple CarPlay, keyless entry and push button start, tyre pressure monitoring and rear parking camera.
The car comes with a 1.5-litre engine mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The Transmission offers four drive modes – Eco, Normal, Sports and Individual.
Lee added, “Since SAIC Motor’s acquisition of MG Motor, and as a Global Top 500 company, we have opened a new chapter for this British-born brand. The introduction of the all-new MG6 comes hot on the heels of the launch of two SUV models earlier this year – the MG RX5 compact SUV and the MG ZS SUV – as well as the second-generation MG GS. With these models joining the existing MG 360, we now have a very competitive and appealing line-up to offer our discerning customers in the Middle East.”
